Barb: You got me there with the burning theater analogy. No pithy comeback for that one. You're saying it's different this time, deflation could be the thing that makes you right. We'll see. Val: Yes, there are tons of "value" stocks out there in smallcap land at the moment but my long side money is going to go into things that have been acting relatively well since much of the beaten down stuff will probably take additional gas as the year draws to a close (I'll be shorting a basket of beaten down names in the next few weeks to try to take advantage of that.) Will cover those shorts Xmas week and go long some value stuff by New Year's to try to catch a lil' January bounce. It's a theory anywho... drakes353
