Very funny article. Seems as if the deep pockets of aapl
are in the top execs. Over the holidays, I wen't home to
the Bay Area to visit family and went to one of Be's demos
for BeOS. I was really impressed with it. Unfortunately, the
same day I was there (12/20) was the day Apple signed with NeXT.

Quite depressing.... I read somewhere that even on Jan 7th,
aapl isn't going to spill out their guts about the OS complete
future.

As for the Newton discussion here a few weeks ago... I hate to
say it, but these HPC's are sure looking pretty nice, esp. the
Compaq one. Not sure if Newton can compete with HPC/Windows CE

Looks like all my hopes and dreams for appl (i.e., financial
interests) are slowly slipping down the tubes.

Any optimism out there ????
