The first article you quote is the follow on event from the initial share sell off (if that is true). Thanks for the info. Seems the same mechanism is occurring in the US. The Israeli currency has been very overvalued for a low level developed economy competing with the likes of Korea, Taiwan, and Singapore. I was there in June and my Aussie dollars didn't go so far... David
