RE:By Peter Huber
forbes.com

Which is a better description of the Forbes article by Peter Huber?:
1. bullshit
2. nonsense
3. fantasy

I honestly don't know which is the better description.

On a practical level, people don't make more money when volatility increases. They actually lose money. The author, Peter Huber, doesn't understand that Asia, Russia, and Latin America economies have lost hundreds of billions of dollars because of this volatility.

Even the hedge funds are getting crunched, and they are supposed to be the beneficiaries of volatility.

Maybe he's one of those Conan fans, who think >whatever doesn't destroy me will make me stronger< ? Or, the more people that go bankrupt, the better my chance of making a killing?

Regards,

Larry
