In my highly biased opinion (I'm a DAL employee), it's a bargain. Airlines are still expected to post a profit through the next "moderate" recession. I nibbled some more DAL at these fire-sale prices after Merrill downgraded the airlines last Thursday. I'm hoping that LUV will also drift lower so I can grab some more cheap stock.

With DAL, I'm playing for the ultra-long term, though. I trade some (even going short now and then), but mostly I accumulate DAL for retirement (still 25+ years away). I hate to sound disloyal, but I hope the price drifts lower before things get better. I just LOVE cheap stock.
