Wildstar, The question that Savitz never asks is, has Forrester been any good in the past on his predictions? Just a hint, his previous predictions have sucked. Also, when he (Savitz) calls a 14% growth prediction the best of all worlds, we have to remember that as recently as two years ago, that was a low level nobody in the pc sector (including Forrester) would acknowledge as being possible. <G>

Other than that, the analysis is flapdoodle. Business pc sales are drying up right now and will continue to fade into 2000, not grow into it. At the moment, there are seasonals faking out the slow of wit, with back to school and end of federal budget cycle hitting this quarter's reported #s and Xmas sales making the doomed boxmakers optimistic on the future. All of that will be over by the first of the year and we will return to Death Valley for the pc.
