TB; RE:" Funds "

Thanks for that Fund summary, Berney - there was also a big Fund supplement in this Sunday's New York Times, FWIW. They talk about fund investors "descent into hell" with Dante-like drawing on the cover (^_^) Apparently the fund owners not only got lower NAV's, but also gotta pay taxes because the funds have cashed out and made taxable distributions, so - you're paying taxes on a net loss !

Also mentioned was the poor performance of Bond Funds - they say that buying bondz outright was superior to almost all Funds' performance during QTR-3.

Paper goes on to say that the best returns in QTR-3 were in Money Market Cash Management tactics.

bought STT @ 53, sold STTJK - Oct 55 CALLs @ 3-3/8

I suspect the Chi-Town boyz will be popping things up/near to options boundaries this week. Fly me to the Moon and CALL me away, folks !
