MG, Re: Funds

Peter Lynch in one of his books reflected that, in all difference to his bond brothers at Fidelity, he didn't understand why they existed. Why would someone pay to have a bond managed? There might be exceptions for the high yield and convertible variety where manager experience and diversification may be of some importance.

I got to say that I agree. Seems that the point of fixed income investments is to ensure the safety of principal. Bond funds provide no such assurance.

Did something different for me. Bought 1000 COMR to open. Took the risk that today we wouldn't see the quick sell-off. Went in at 23 and out at 23 15/16. I'll put that 4% in the bank. But, your covered call plays are looking very attractive.
