To all: I recently talked to a young man that I have known since he was a kid. He now works for GTE. He informed me that GTE would be announcing a nationwide marketing program for internet access very soon using adsl. He also said that GTE would be announcing the purchase of modems for the program. Unfortunately, he did not know the source of the modems or whether they would be dmt or cap. He should be able to fill some info. gaps soon and I will follow up. Wouldn't it be great if the modems were the latest upgrade from amtx? If GTE and AMTX are known to have a meeting in early Jan. as posted by another person today, the poss. may not be too remote. I have been picking up more shares as the price has moved down. Will prob. take another nibble tom. A persons airplane is never fast enough and the boat is never big enough, perhaps amtx will help solve that prob. once and for all. Happy New Year to all. Cliff
