How 'bout Christmas? My first attempt was a failure. I used Partition Magic to format a FAT partition at the beginning of one of my SCSI drives. I then unplugged all of my other harddrives except the prepared SCSI drive. I set the mobo bios to SCSI and the SCSI bios to the boot target ID of the prepared SCSI drive.

I do not think the problem is with any of the above. I booted the machine with the NT disc in the IDE CDROM. It looked at my hardware and loaded some drivers. The only mass storage device it found was the IDE CDROM. NT asked me if I had any other devices not shown on the list for which I had a disc supplied by the manufacturer.

I chose to continue and NT said it could not as there was no harddrive to install itself on.

I believe I need to load a driver for the IBM SCSI harddrive or the Adaptec AHA 2940 U2W SCSI host adapter or both.

Anyone have any ideas?
