dug-- ok, i'll call tomorrow but i think i am on a black list for no call back/VM hell<G>. a bear? no, just realistic. if japan is really serious, its going to mean austerity on there part, and higher interest rates here. it also means the japanese have to repatriate. these two things spell much lower readings on the indices. add to all of it the very real lack of liquidity and the inability of banks to securitize lending...and you get a big basketcase full of problems. its not the technicals...its not the prices in the market...its the fundamentals. they can be ignored short term, but they always kick in, IMHO. good luck to all, trey
