gentleman had throat ulcers back when he was king of kings, about 1 and 1/2 to 2 years ago, sidelined him for about 6 months and is still great but hasnt ever been quite the same. i believe skip came back with heat in his legs. wagon limit is a mudlark, he would normally need binoculars just to get a glimpse of skippy and gentlemans tails, he is a fine well bred horse but could only be king if he raced in the rain forest. sharp cat is just awesome, where is mossflower? the only filly capable of giving her a run for her money. i hope they hook up in the breeders cup but flower would need a prep race here quick and i dont know where she is. sharp cat i dont believe has won by any less than 10 lengths this year and this is strictly grade 1 stakes races so it aint no beanie baby. thats the problem with the breeders cup, if the sire is not a nominated sire the owner has to put up a ton of cash to supplement the horse, its bs, gentleman is one of the two or three best horses on the planet and because his sire is robin du bois in argentina and no one knows him, he is not welcome. breeders cup people need to pull their collective s$#t together. well, at least we know hubbard has the cash so there is a chance. dont figure too much excitement on the horse racing front from now till nov. 7th as its a bit late for a prep now. still dont believe medeivil hero chucked it like that, being a half to favorite trick out of evil elaine i thought the distance might be a bit much but i figured the mud would be fine, that horse needed a raincoat and umbrella, yuck.
