re: shooting star > DJIA and the SPX closed at or below the opening > (wen all stocks were open) aha - you inadvertently answered my question, which is why that shows up clearly on SPY and DIA and not at all on SPX and DJIA. but now, do you happen to know why the SPY and DIAmond closed below the indices they represent? Do they normally trade at a discount or is that a meaningful divergence? Shahar
