Another interpretation of the cryptic news release wording could be delineating what is unique and therefore patentable. Instead of referring to all the previous attempts by the other (incompetent?) patent attorney, it might be saying that all the other oil refinery patents issued to previous generations of inventors did not uncover what GRNO has discovered. The important fact is that the patent has been granted. My question is, can you patent a scam? A question to involve the SEC. Paragraph 172 of the SEC suit against GRNO states that the plant cannot be operated at its rated capacity of 400 gallons an hour without modification of its operating permit and re-testing at the higher capacity. We know that to be a false statement. The SEC says that GRNO made a false statement saying that it had its product tested. If the SEC is interested in uncovering smears, it doesn't have far to look.
