Leroyt, Yeah I caught that & since your on the west coast, if your run across someone who has a Csco modem give me a yell, then we will find someone who has a Wstl modem & see if it they handshake as its been a long time since the thread talked cap chipsets. I agree that the interest is there & think we should see a little better deployment from BA considering that article also stated that you would have to replace even a G-lite modem within two years. Why would Bell have to upgrade to dmt until everyone else has? Seems like we aren't the only ones that see the demand be it cap or dmt. Message 5973236 I agree that IW dropped the ball on that one considering they were one of the first to report Amati, Wstl & the different versions of xdsl in the same article years ago. Goes to show Marc Archers post nailed the greed factor. Yeah right, Csco rules the data networking sector. I don't use any Csco products & have bandwidth to spare for now. Ill tell you something, even the old timers that have been forced to dump most of their Wstl stock still hold some. Some of the posters here know more of what this is all about than the companies themselves. Money rules thus the Csco reference in that article. If you haven't read this thread lately, they had some great posts since Friday. Subject 4754 Dug P.S. Just reinforcing what your saying. My only concern w/ Wstl right now is the competition & perception. What good is having some of the best stuff around if you can't talk about it.
