There appears to be a software bug with RealTick. Assume for example,
that you have placed an order to buy 1000 shares of a $10 stock. Also assume that you have $10000 buying power at the beginning of the day. Your margin requirement should be $5000 leaving you with $5000 worth of buying power. While your order is pending, and after your order is executed, your buying power should remain at $5000. I have discovered, however, that while the order is live, your buying power decreases by 100% and not 50% of the transaction amount. In the above example, then, you would have 0 buying power and would be unable to execute any other trades while your order was live. You do not have any buying power until the order is executed or cancelled.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?
