Stephen, Frank & Thread - I am advised that effective 11/1/98, GTE, who is my carrier for home and my office, will monitor my lines for usage and charge according to usage. I don't know what the rate will be because my wife just heard it on the TV. I have one line at home and two lines at my office. One of my lines at the office is used exclusively for internet access. I wouldn't mind so much if my second line could be used for phone access while I am on the net but the technology isn't there yet. I will try to determine if there is a CLEC, I can use. Have you heard from others about ILECs plans to monitor and charge for usage.

Ken
