Monday morning 22 Apr. Checkfree vs. Intuit ............ ?? Is Checkfree Corp's 1st quarter results a preview for upcoming results for Intuit ?? www.newspage.com -> home banking A report for Checkfree (ckfr) 1st quart. earnings indicate a 30% increase in "processing revenues" attributed to more active consumer usage of Checkfree's products. Also, the number of bank agreements with Checkfree increased. The statement from the CEO is excerpted "...increase indicates consumers want electronic commerce..." Now, my observation, somewhat obvious. Intuit reports in June, 2nd Quart. results. (Intuit has an odd fiscal-accounting year ). Presumable, Checkfree is a competitor with Intuit, ? ? ? will Intuit show a similar positive trend ? ? ? ?? Comments, anywone ?
