<<Compare to Brocade 8 port switch priced in $2,000 range, ie $1,000/port to OEM's.Note that the ANCR press release positions MKII-8 as an "NT" switch..who competes in the NT space? Well, if SUNW is UNIX, then perhaps companies like DELL, CPQ , etc..might have some interest in a product/port count/price point like this.>> Not to chill the Fantastic news - But, must money sites are still UNIX based (HP most) - lets hope there is nothing in the management SW that turns off the UNIX market.
