I like this company but.... it operates largely like other REITs by growth. They open new Inns frequently and from what I hear the market in the deep south is already saturated. They are suffering from decreasing loads (ie. vacancy rates). I do think they are a good prospect in this market due to their lack of fluctuation in price and fairly good plan of opening inns where other companies don't. As far as investment potential (on a scale of 1 -10) I would give them a 6 for possible rate of return, a 7 for stability but a 2 for excitement. If you like the excitement of a stock that could double, triple or lose most of its value quickly this is not the one for you. Just the humble opinions of a well traveled psychology professor from the deep south! -psycprof
