On sources of info -- Folks, I subscribe to a bunch of Russian-language newspapers, and I know Russia very well. I am no economist, but my general advice at the moment would be: stay away! What is obvious from reading the Russian sources is that nobody over there knows 1) what they are doing, or 2) what they should do. Actually, there are a few who do have a grip on the situation, but they are not in a position to do anything to fix it. My instinct tells me that total implosion is coming (although I can't prove it). jbe
