Semiconductor Laser says CFO resigns "Nicholas Prioletti, Jr. resigned, effective Oct. 2 for personal, health and other reasons." biz.yahoo.com Its interesting to note that on Oct 12 the company tells us that the CFO resigned effective Oct 2. I think that the CFO would have tended his notice some time before Oct 2 (most people give at least 2 weeks notice) and I would've appreciated the company disclosing this a little sooner. I wonder when the company learned that the CFO was going to resign. I was also surprised that there was no statement like "Nick has agreed to serve in an interim capacity while the search for his replacement is conducted". This makes me think the parting was not on good terms or the guy is really ill. Who do you think the company can recruit to be CFO? I'd like to be a fly-on-the-wall during the interviews!
