Livelink Prospectors allows users to create virtual research assistants to scour internal and external knowledge sources, retrieving up-to-the-minute information to help get work done.

Using Livelink Prospectors, knowledge workers can create and manage virtual research agents from within their collaborative project and personal workspaces in Livelink. These agents continuously search
knowledge sources within and outside Livelink, including the company's intranet sites, business applications and the World Wide Web, and then report back with relevant information. Each result includes an intelligent summary of the content, including a link to the original source. Combined with Livelink Change Agents, users can configure Livelink Prospectors to notify them via e-mail or pager of important research results.
