Hi Holly, I would be the last to defend HMO's....... I would be the last to defend the Tobacco people.... I think they will both ultimately get what is coming to them.... I have never smoked a day in my life... at the age of 29 I nearly died from an aggressive squamous cell carcinoma of the tongue, jaw, and lymph, My Doctor's described it as a NASTY TUMOR which reoccurred times 2. I am profoundly scarred and disfigured, I have speech problems, I have swallowing problems. My life is more complete and gratifying than it ever was before my challenges.... In retrospect, there are many people i could have sued. There are many people i could have hated. there are many people i could have blamed and gone after. What good would that have done me. I could blame second hand smoke. I could blame so many different possible causes it would make your head spin...... SO WHAT.... Would i have my problems today if i had never breathed second hand smoke.....I do believe that is true... Would someone else ever have the same problem as me... probably not in 100 years... Do i blame you and all the smokers of the world.... absolutely not... have a good day, my friend....
