Point well-taken. I've been worried about this..... given the negative sentiment for biotech, I've been concerned that a market bounce would see capital flow back to other sectors and leave second- and third-tier biotech depressed.

HOWEVER..... how many non-biotechs have values below cash/share-in-hand and research programs that should command a decent research premium? Ray, some third-tier biotechs are going to explode up. I can't say that it's going to happen near-term, but I can say that they have arrived at worst-case scenarios while most investors are just getting nervous about the Amazon.coms and Chryslers of the world.

I'm not questioning your observation. I appreciate it. I'm just saying that, like for 12/94, it's time to develop passion for small cap biotech. Yes, 90% of the companies will turn out to be garbage (and one can currently assign the label to the vast majority of those), but..... the T/FIF thread here at SI will turn up some huge winners for the next two years.

Just my $0.02.
