Ok, so you can only see and accept the very worst in human nature, expect it of everyone and accept it from everyone.

Consequently, this acceptance and low expectation linked with "it doesn't matter" will allow this country drift ever lower in all the basic values of life.

Frankly, I think your dark cynicism is alot of bunk. I agree there is a distrust of politicians, however, that doesn't mean that we shouldn't always be seeking and forever desiring to elect people with high moral and ethical values. Human nature is such that we always want to to respect our elected leaders. But when they can't live up to our trust then they must be removed.

I'll gladly offer a trade off as follows, name any Republican or Congressman whom you think has a "proven" list of abuses as Clinton. Then let's take'em out together!! Gingrich, whom I'm sure you'll think of right away is expendable. Pick'em, but let's take out "The Coward" sitting in the White House.
