Just trying to console myself by looking at the big picture here after today's inexplicable sell-off.

It could be IBM used KM for this new achievement, but even if they did or didn't, this drive won't be in production till the new millenium. If it's KM, its a great long term revenue source! If its a competitive technology, KM has several years to run before it meets this competition.

Bramson bought his 400K shares at 6 7/8, and he didn't do it to sell it at 8 3/4, today's absurd closing price.

"Buy on the rumor, sell on the news" Wall street is full of wonderful wisdom such as this. The selloff is boo hooing because they're disappointed KM didn't get a bigger manufacturer, when we should be glad they got a deep pocketed smaller player who'll try and shake up the market and improve their small 5% market share- thereby inducing the other players to even the odds by also purchasing KM-- but at much higher prices.

Ah well, prices rarely track the true value of the company. Right now we're severely undervalued, but I guess the fraidy cats will wait till more contracts are signed.
