Sorry for not writing as clearly as I should have. What I meant to communicate is that there are lots of things, like say, Brazil, that people say... year after years for countless years... "Boy, this has a lot of potential."
I meant to say that while electronic commerce and, by extension HRBC, also has a lot of potential going for it, it is potential that is red hot and ready... not something that is going to stay just a potential good idea for years. Companies that don't embrace it to the widest extent possible with both their suppliers and customers are going to be doing business the long, hard, expensive way. HRBC, it looks like from their press release, can really help those companies catch up and get aboard.
IF they don't really do well with a product like this, SOMETHING is drastically wrong with their marketing, sales force, business plan, or there are some other factors present that could be operating against them that I just don't know about. |
