Michael, I am told IOMEGA used SGI machines to test/simulate the ZIP drive. Is that true? Also, I remember reading an article long ago (even before I started following SGI), which said something to the effect that SGI is developing (??) a system to simulate the human body. That means, a surgeon can perform a "pre-surgery" using the computer to see the response of the body, before actually operating on a human body. Is anything like that is happening?, because, if they can simulate a ZIP drive in an SGI m/c, I am pretty sure a Heart or a Kidney or the Lungs, or even the Brain can also be simulated!. My recollection is that they were going to set up an R&D establishment in Bangalore, India, for the research. Am I even close, or totally got myself mixed up with some other company?
