A possible piece of information that might fit in this category is the effect of SAP price cutting on PSFT sales and especially profit.

This is just more denial from the software vendors, and Sap bulls. Price cutting is not the problem in software, imo. The market is receding and Im not sure its all y2k. We dont have any new products like we did in prior years. The engines are already becoming commoditized.

SAP has said that it's sales and profits are going to be very good, and despite this it has taken a hit.

Psft also said that, 3 weeks ago. This same thing that is happening to psft will happen to Sap. The onle thing Sap has going for it is a recovering european economy... but other than that they are actually worse off than psft. Sap stock seems to be considered a blue chip and those are the last to fall, but it will (already has, 50% off its highs actually).
