jhild, Thanks for the answers. This was the second penny stock I ever invested in. What a rude education I've received. I'll never invest in another penny stock again. The first one was PKGP. It did a 70/1 reverse split and it is fast approaching the 6 cents that it was before the reverse. These penny stocks seem to issue more stock at will until they have diluted the market so badly that they have to reverse split. Then they start doing it all over again. And seemingly, without any repercussions for outright lying in their press releases, investors are open game. Who can do any serious DD when so many people are lying? Who are you going to believe? I didn't believe you guys (the bashers) and you were telling the truth. IMO, the only way people (I hesitate to call them investors) can make money in the pennies is to get in on an early pump, and then dump, before everyone else starts dumping. The last ones holding the stock are the losers. It reminds me of a kid's game, except the stakes are higher. When one kid cheats they all start yelling "do over". Even kids know cheating ain't right. I just wish I had the chance to yell 'do over' for my penny trading for the last four months, because they cheated. I've read several times from different posters that the pennies are for selling. I'm sure that there are some legitimate companies doing business as penny stocks, but I, in my very short involvement with pennies, haven't seen them. As I said, I've received a very rude education in the pennies, and had I known the rules, (or lack of) I wouldn't have played this game. I don't blame anyone for my trading, no one ever held a gun to my head, but you don't go into any game expecting people to cheat and get away with it. There are rules in life. Those rules keep us civil towards eachother. I hope the SEC really enforces those rules and puts a few of those heads on the poles outside the courthouse. I do not mean to offend anyone, all this is my own opinion. WesB |
