OT: Justa: re human nature:

You are right. I was being rude.

I tend to question everything, look for the hidden motive, look for the personal agenda, look for inconsistencies. Sometimes I see them even when they aren't there.

I appreciate your comments and criticism.

You are not the only person who pointed out to me that I should have listened to the cc before taking a large position in the stock. I read a couple of articles, didn't have the cc #, saw the stock up 27%, and it seemed to be stalling. How do you find out the cc # ahead of time (other than asking on the thread). The flow of info on the threads is good enough that there is a danger of me getting lazy, and not checking the original.

You may very well be right, that we've seen the bottom, and technology buys will support an increase in orders, until the capacity buys kick in.

The main reason I bought all those nvls puts, was to protect myself if the market dives. I now have most of my money in semi and semi-equips (long), and if the market tumbles, INTC may get back to 65, and my puts will be worth a lot of money. On the other hand, if the sector and market goes up from here, my puts may expire worthless. However, I think we are in for a period of at least 6 months, of volatility before the semi-equips head up and stay up.

my motto:

trust no one,
assume nothing,
check everything,
then, tomorrow, check it again,
because it may have changed.

Try not to take anything I say personally.
