They are being limited by communication performance(in general). Faster CPUs in a non compute bound environment wont feel any better. Unlike fast cars, which are fun and babe magnets(just kidding :-) ) even when driven in a rush hour on 405! (actually especially so!) Hey, your knowledge of fast cars is impressive!
