You are correct - there are some great people in racing. When
my Dad was U.S. manager of Alberta Ranches, Ltd. (Four And
Twenty, Blue Butterfly, Royal Seranade, etc)...I met lot's of them.
"We" had a box(es) at Santa Anita for some 30 years...my Dad
as an attorney - represented many racing people = R.H."Red"
McDaniel, Allen Drumheller, Bill Molter, W.J. "Buddy" Hirsch (King
Ranch), Wayne Stucki, Johnny "The Pumper" Longden, Milo
Valenzuela, Alvaro Pineda, etc., etc.
