I know of no stock that would survive a real crash, but the venerable stocks like GE would of course not go to zero value, as long as the company continues operating. Treasury bills are one way to survive a real crash. Large companies especially those that are diversified are better LT investments in a case of a real crash. Reality is that no one can predict a real crash, you just wake up and find it all went down in a few minutes.
