In ''Era Ahead,'' Gates sees computers everywhere dailynews.yahoo.com Gates also discussed the possibility of a Windows tone or ''Wintone'' comparable to a telephone dial tone, in which computers would give users an indication of the status of their network connection. What foresight! What vision! It doesn't take much to realize that computers are already everywhere and this trend will only continue. Then to steal Sun's "Webtone" and rename it "Wintone", give me a break. Judd
