Any ideas why gold stocks are going down while gold is up and dollar is down? (Besides that there are more sellers than buyers!)

I been watching them slowly tick into the red and am starting to wonder if anyone actually cares about gold anymore. Seems like down days on the market ought to be good for the "safety" stocks. TIA
