Many managers confident systems will be ready

An overwhelming majority of information systems managers surveyed last month by Computerworld are highly confident their systems will be compliant by Jan. 1, 2000. And more than 72% of the 203 IS managers surveyed believe that the year 2000 problem won't impact the U.S. economy significantly.
