Years back we had a duck hunting blind on the Illinois River close to Peoria. Several of us decided to stay in Peoria and save the early morning drive over for opening day. Peoria is a drinking town, so we went out and had some gin and tonics. We drank 'em up until the nudie bars closed which happened to be the time we were to head to the blind.

After 7 hours I mentioned as how I was never going to touch gin again as I could still smell it. A couple of the guys agreed with me but the bright eyed chap who had spent the night in bed, far from the gin mills, said he could smell it also. Got to looking and the blind was covered with juniper bush limbs and gin is flavored with juniper berries. Smelled that gin all season.
