fascinating t'Rubin/GreenExpand LTCM spin meisters' version is slowly unraveling!! For example, did y'all hear CNBC's Faber proclaim from the rooftops today LTCM was NOT involved in the AHP merger arb'ing that collapsed today?

Said it was worth commenting on, b/c so many of their positions lately had been their "heavy involvement" in risk arb of M&A. Don't think the M of M&A stands for "mortgage backed securities derivs" in this instance...
