I went back to the trade show and spent about 30 minutes with Jim Karikas,left card at office,who is the head of marketing and sales. Here are the things that I felt are going to make this a jewel for our money! Affordability, other units which do not perform the as efficiently as Capscan cost between 6000 to 20000 dollars! Our basic unit which is what the salesman try and sell is 2200.00 and includes,3Capscans probes, there delux hand held remote. The remote will do the following,measure by inches or gallons fuel or water,read temp,scan the pumps,read fuel delivery bills of lading, and is insertible into a modeum to download data the the main office in Fl! 6000 units will be available by Nov 30th, and a conservative est of sales before year end Jim said was 12000 units! He said of all the trade shows, and they have shown at 18 this past year, 99 out of 100 will take the units if it does what they say it will! I think we have the Beanie Baby for the Oil business!!! They have several new products coming. This one will be available for sale end of first qtr 1999. The small capscan for the home heating and oil business. Retail for 79.00 and cost is about 30.00!Cap will have a button on the topand u push the button and it will give your a read out! This will be a huge mass marketing effort. Sears will be there first target market.They are developing capscans for the marine industry and for the huge oil tanks that you see in refineries and for oil tankers.The head of one major oil Co told Jim this product will revolutionize the oil industry!!! The sales and revenues that are in the Corp report are very conservative. They want steady growth and want to give great service and make stockholders happy.All of there sales team are veterans and have invested money into the Co so I feel they have a vested interest in what happen I like that.. I have hit all the highlights and have to run now. I think this is a real good one folks. We are in early but if we did not get in here we would be paying much more!!!! Jim
