No. Its very comforting.

In the US it is very easy to register to vote. It is also very easy to get a ride to the polling booths. If the uninformed &/or unmotivated want to leave the decision about who controls the political process up to others...its a free country. I respect their decision. I applaud their decision.

I often avoid voting for candidates or about issues that I don't understand well enough to cast an intelligent vote. Let others who have studied the issues more closely decide. Whats so heroic about voting for or against something about which you know nothing or don't care?

I suppose there are some who would like to compel a free people to vote, but I'm not one of them.
