The best thing for the human plumbing of males and females alike is cranberry juice. Sorry to disappoint. However, a shot of vodka in said juice is okay by me.

Rotgut has nothing to do with liver disease in my intended context in my post. My use of rotgut refers to chronic gastrointestinal irritation and distress [see hangover]. Given sufficient time and use, consumption of any alcoholic libation will affect the liver (and pancreas, kidneys, heart, etc.) adversely--sooner for some than for others. Moderation, as in all things, is advised.
