Zeev, Time to head for the REFR web site refr-spd.com and get an education on the competition before you challenge Mr. Smith. After you've done some reading you may want to send further questions to Joe Harary at REFR who will be happy to give you the most recent information. Also you may want to locate some of the articles written on the SPD eyewear in trade and ski magazines. Those are listed under "media" on the REFR web site. When you've got the facts you may not have the same questions or concerns that you are currently expressing. ND
