What I was told was a large group of big hitters left for US West and ICG. NXTL paid them $25,000 plus a generous commission. They were taken away with offers of $50,000 plus generous commission and perks. These individuals were the ones that were tagged for management positions. Mostly in the sales management area where NXTL is thin. They have added tons of raw trainees and they are getting very little guidance. This is the life blood of NXTL and could present a problem down the road. These senior sales people are already contacting the good producers from the sales force to try to bring them with them.

It would seem long or short minded investors would be interested in this information. I was seeking to see if anyone else heard this. Did anyone else have any thoughts on these points. Harry Finn does not move markets. I just try to stay on the right side of them. I was looking for a stock to trade as most of what I do is buy and hold. NXTL was pointed out to me this morning as one to possibly trade from the short side right now. As it turns out I did selling 4000 at $19.75, 3000 at 19 7/8 and 3000 at 19 13/16. I covered all in the last half hour at 19 5/8

Not going to make me rich overnight but it will pay for dinner. As for the information I was hoping to hear from others on what they thought or heard. It could be a factor in making a longer term decision.
