the class is $5000 but i feel that i will learn technique well worth it. Steven, this will be helpful to you because we use the same the same software, pc quote. one hint i have learned to be very helpful is to create a market minder box with some of your popular traded stocks. choose the feature which lets you exclude marketmakers and remove the 8 ECN's from the profile. this shows you what market makers in a perticular stock are doing with thier prices. white is refreshed, green is up and red is down. instead of watching market makers paint the tape with trades that they shuffle around between them to create an illusion of buying. the real indication of price movement is what they are doing with thier bid and asks. try it and see what you thing, i have found it to be very accurate. some good daytrading stocks that we commonly follow in class have been SPLS and BBBY. we also picked 5 stocks today that meet the instructors criteria that will gap in the morning and have a pullback. if the market is still strong at that pullback, they are good buys for a profit. watch LGTO and CMGI. they were 2 of the 5. market makers will go out on INCA or MWSE in disguse to either buy or sell stock or fill spaces on a level ii screen to show strength on either the bid or ask while being in the same spot. something i have seen many times. good luck. will report as i learn. SR.
