K7 looks pretty good doesn't it.

Faster bus 200Mhz vs 100Mhz for Intel.
8 Meg L2 cache vs 1Mb for Intel.
Awesome FPU compared to Xeons best.

A fully loaded 500 Mhz K7 system with 8Mb cache will blow away a 1Mb Xeon at same speeds. Oh and it will cost a whole lot less too.

The design is clearly awesome. Wether they can build 'em and ship 'em is the only question.

AMD now has a superior architecture than anything that Intel has forecast or announced for 99.

You should be very worried.
