As a school project, I am hoping to do a statistical analysis of the effectiveness of technical analysis. I am looking for professional resources to help me develop a working system and to help with the selection of indicators and/or systems to use. I have experience in basic charting techniques, and a little in using other forms of TA. However, I am not comfortable with the selection of specific indicators to use in this study. Because I need to evaluation each system or indicator very specifically, the buy and sell signals must be very clear and precise. This may go against the very nature of TA as being a very subjective art... If you are interested in helping on a limited basis with the selection of indicators (and probably being quoted in the study), please contact me for more information. This is going to be a high school science fair project (maybe this will bring back some memories to some of you! <g>), which I hope to take to the state, if not national level!
