When I read my comments to you, they seemed to sound excessively harsh. Your comments were intended to be light. I used a dark contrast to emphasize that the world is in the grip of irrational depression. From expectations of how lower interest rates would drive the DOW through 10,000 to expectations that lower rates would drive it to 5,000, all in three months. A complete bear market in six. Fast and vicious does not a bear market make. This correction is over and we'll be up and drunk in no time, but new highs in the DOW are unlikely. Before that we'll fail again and sophomoric chicken little media will drive the traders into borrowed money bankruptcy.
