In reviewing this announcement and reading the SEC guidelines for "shareholder proposals", this announcement was textbook PERFECT. All the components outlined in the SEC rules are there. That link is:

Now, for some of us that do not have registered shares, (some of mine were till recently, had to send them back to the broker for personal reasons), we were caught with the pants down to the 'ol ankles, much like Clinton. Now the company has on many occasions has recommended that shareholders request their certificate. I personally thought it was to precipitate a "short squeeze", and since I did not believe that would happen in this lifetime,& I decided that I didn't like the company knowing just how many shares I owned. In other words I expect the same treatment that 1 million shareholder gets. Just a personal thing folks. Both Les and Larry have been extremely helpful in this matter, as well as the TA, and the brokerage house. Hindsight is always 20/20. Had I known that it would have caused this mess I would have brought it to the attention of the thread some time ago. Yes we can armchair CEO this thing...why didn't they!, but suffice it to say both Gary and I will sit down with them Monday a.m. before the meeting and discuss things such as this. Arm chairing this thing does no good. I personally wanted this proxy vote to go as smoothly as possible and to see the little guy have his say. Yes many of you have had no problems getting proxy materials from other companies, and this will be looked into, as not to happen again, so lets let this dog lie for a little while. In case you are unaware, there is a big clearing house in Canada, and one in the US that clears all the trades, so the TA has on the books one big shareholder. From there it breaks down into smaller (brokerage house) shareholders, which in turn breaks down into you and everybody else...so you can see it can be a cumbersome task to distribute the notices. So my guess is that the ball was dropped somewhere.

Had Les and Larry not been receptive to having a new board member(s) then I would have been pissed and obviously upset of the events. So the votes not being needed are not that big of deal, but to me, (one who votes at every election and referendum), I feel it is our little guy right. This will be clarified , like I said so that this oversight/mistake will not occur again. Lets see what they have on Monday, then the whole picture, all those pieces to the puzzle just might fit and we will understand why everthing happened for a reason. I am told that it will not be an empty house that guests will be there (no don't go off on a tangent folks...just wait this thing out)....My wife even was begging me to clean up the look.(She's been begging me for three years) Ha!!!!!!!, ya gets me the ways ya seez me......long hair and all!!!! So I am eager to attend, and arrive 9:10 p.m., I'm sure I'll belly up my beer belly to the bar at the Plaza shortly thereafter so folks please come buy me a drink, I really mean just come by, but hey if ya want to buy me a drink thats ok, I'll accept, ya know that Southern hospitality thing, and remind me tell ya some Boudreaux and Thibodeaux jokes...especially after I had a couple of drinks....Folks it should be fun, much like meeting all of you has been over the last nine months....
